5. When you are done painting…

When you are done painting, which takes approximately between 30 minutes-2 hours, we will glaze your creation, fire it in our professional ceramic kilns.

Glazing

After your creation is dry, we will dip it in our clear glaze. The glaze is basically a liquid glass, which gets molted in the high temperature of the kiln creating a shiny, bright and glossy finish.

Firing

Glazed, and dried pottery pieces are loaded to one of our kilns to be fired. The temperature in the kiln goes as high as 1830 degrees and the process of firing takes over 8 hours, followed by 16 hours of cooling. After the cooling is done our staff carefully unloads the kiln and sorts all pieces by order.

6. Pick up your pottery piece

When you finish painting we glaze & fire your piece in one of our kilns. The finished product is shiny, food, microwave & dishwasher safe, and ready for pick-up one week from the day you painted.
